At Lucia’s Streetfood & Bar, you are the driving force behind the kitchen, making sure every guest enjoys an unforgettable culinary experience.
Who are we?
We are Lucia’s Streetfood & Bar, a vibrant, international food bar in the heart of Bos en Lommer, where street-food inspirations from South America, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Middle East come together on one menu.
Our restaurant is a place where guests can enjoy everything from early-morning coffee to late-night drinks, from shared dining to festive occasions — all in a warm and lively setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop new dishes that strengthen our international street-food vision — from ceviche and bao buns to tacos and mezze platters.
• Lead, motivate, and inspire the kitchen team while working hands-on yourself.
• Ensure the kitchen runs flawlessly, with quality, timing, and HACCP standards as second nature.
• Maintain oversight of stock and ordering so the team is never short on anything.
• Continuously think about new ways to surprise our guests, from breakfast to late dinner.
Who are you?
- You have experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role in the kitchen.
• You’re hands-on, proactive, and passionate about flavor and quality.
• You’re a motivator who knows how to inspire and organize a team, even during busy moments.
• You communicate clearly (Dutch and/or English) — effective teamwork matters more than perfect grammar.
• You live in (or near) Amsterdam and are flexible in your availability.

- Salary starting from €3,350 per month (based on 38 hours), depending on experience
