The Museum District is the pinnacle of sophistication, but donʼt peg this historical area as dusty and boring. If you are not into the artworks of the Golden Age, have a look at some modern art, go shopping or crawl the many extraordinary eateries.

We donʼt have a shuttle service but we are super well connected by public transport and can arrange a cab for you in a jiffy.
We donʼt sell them but we can help advise what and where to buy! Amsterdam uses a handy public transport ʻchip cardʼ (OV-chipkaart) for the tram, bus, metro and train, valid across the whole Amsterdam network from your first check-in. The easiest options for visitors are the disposable 1-hour or 1-day cards, which you can buy on all trams, the 1-hour cards are also available for purchase on the bus. Hop on and off as much as you want within your chosen time frame…but donʼt forget to check-in and check-out!

We donʼt have onsite storage facilities but there is a location just down the road, at Locker Point Luggage Storage Museumplein on Van Baerlestraat 33B, where you can keep your stuff while you
explore until the last minute of your trip!
